As you may know, many reputable golf land require you to wear golf shoes when you play. A management point of view golf course, there are several reasons to require that they wear:

I know not for you, but I have a tendency to wear my shoes on the outside back heel. Due to the mechanics of playing golf, this subtle change in posture will affect my swing. Golf shoes are made and worn differently and will promote better posture and thus a better swing.

As you can see, golf shoes will improve your ability to golf, which means a higher rating. And because dry feet or higher superior, you should find you enjoy the game of golf more with them than without them.
